I cashed a check that was not good. I kept ten per cent and western unioned the rest.

It used to go to Nigeria but now Britain is the new place. You have now lost money. The FBI, will do nothing. I reported this scam to them (at their request) over 2 years ago and it is still running rampant. "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

You're now responsible for that money. You can try to report it to the Better Business Bureau, but that might not be much help. Once bitten, twice shy.
