Suppose if you were born as a cat or dog in United States would you consider that you were lucky to born as a cat and dog in USA because they have great lives then humans these days?

as long as i had a good family that cared for me and loved me i would consider myself lucky, if i were one of my own cats or dog i would be in heaven becuase, i would get everything i needed and not have to work! ha, thats great!

there are also so many abused and mistreated animals here in the u.s., and i would wish for death if i were born as a cat or dog into one of those families.

A lot of cats and dogs live horrible lives, are maltreated by their people, and many end up in shelters where they are caged before being killed.

So it would depend on whether I ended up with people who catered to my every whim (like we do with our cats) or I was with the other kind of people.

Pets are considered members of the family here in the US. Most live very good lives. I know my pit bull has a great life!
Plenty to eat, a warm house to live in, his choice of beds to sleep in. Lots of toys....he has in made!
