till 2day, no one give a good answer. which comes first , an egg or the chick ?

Well I happen to love this debate; so here is my theory on it. Each one has to come before the other, so the only argument that can be used would require you to believe in creation. If that's the case then it would have to be the chicken. If not it's impossible to answer... although I think that the best answer is in the over and on the stove :-D now if you'll excuse me my answer is almost done baking!!

I would say the egg. Evolution means that changes happen overtime. If the first true chicken evolved from an animal that was not a chicken it's parent most likely laid the egg it hatched from. The individual mutations is what made the first chicken (or the mating of whatever animals were pre-chicken). There may have been several all laid at the same time, still until it hatched the egg came before the chicken.

Based on the creation theory the Chick would have had to come first, because God put animals on the earth. Also eggs must be sat on in order to hatch, so the chicken would have had to come first

Logic would dictate that the chicken came first. Adam and Eve were created. Eve had eggs to be fertilized by Adam and make more people. I'll bet the chicken story would be the same.
