I don't seem to be able to find that thing I want. What I found wasn't what I wanted. How do you find your path then?

Your question is very vaugue. Sturctured in such a way it is hard to understand what you are trying to answer. If it refers to your destiny or life choices in vocation try this. Ask yourself what gives you joy and happiness. Persue that direction. If you get up in the morning and look forward to going to work, whatevery it is you choose to do you will be good at it and the world will beat a path to your door.

A thought that may help,
take your mind back to when you were young, what did you like doing, what did you want to do then, what did it for you, what were you always doing that made time stand still, where were you in your head, how did you feel when you made things, or playing at certain imaginery games.

These could hold a key which you need to turn to unlock this potential.
It was a time of pure innocence, unbridled passion and simplicity and the mind was more open and free.

I hope you find what you are looking for.
