how and why did you wipe the HD of the OS

Use one of the following:

- Recovery CD/DVD that came with your laptop
- Possibly a recovery partition on the hard drive of the laptop (some vendors do this, some don't)
- Your purchased copy of MS Windows and a fresh installation

lol nice one smart one all u have to do is if u have another computer with internet go download windows 98/2000/xp/vista u choose or u could ask the geek squad but its gonna cost u a bit of money or u could take ur recovery disk u got with ur computer unless u threw that away.

Reload Windows from your Disk - you will have to re-enter your codes. Or if you got a restore disk with your computer (or made your own) use that. If you do not have either you will have to buy windows again i am afraid

Most laptops come with a recovery CD. Place the CD in the drive, switch on and follow the on screen instructions.

ummmm you need a Windows disk. Turn the computer on and open the drive, put it in, and see what happens.

you have to re install windows from the original CD,not much fun.
