British and American intelligence tells us that Iran is responsible for the deaths of our GIs in Iraq... It's pretty scary when such an evil tyrant gets such respect from the left. Also,
have you noticed that he sounds just like John Kerry, Dick Durbin, John Murtha... when they go on their anti-American rants? It really bothers me that the left calls this "freedom of speech", giving a terrorist a platform to spread his hate and lies.

sdfsdfsdf f, It's not Bush's play book that he's taking his speech from. It seems to be the left.

russkimuzhik, just a day before he came to America he was giving a speech, standing behind a banner that read, "Death To America". That speaks for it's self.

Hmmmm, what do I think of Mr. Ahmadinejad? I generally have a practice of not liking people whose names are a pain in the ar$e to pronounce. I find their personalities tend follow suit with their name.
On a serious note, Ahmadinejad is the modern version of a Napoleon. Short, arrogant, overly boastful and defiant, but with that nasty "Achilles heel"....greed.....which will be his downfall.
Like most warring people, they tend to overestimate themselves and underestimate their enemy. Iran is doing precisely this. And like all tyrannts, Ahmadinejad's dangers lies within his abilities to intimidate the rest of the world. When his intimidation is no longer effective, his power ebbs.
Quite frankly, I find the man boorish. He really isn't too terribly bright either. Bottom line, another terrorist bully.
I am not sure giving this man the platform at a recognized uni was the best idea. It only gives him another avenue, right here on American soil, to sling more threats and rubbish toward America. People are either against TERRORISTS, like Ahmadinejad, or they are with them. It is not a road that can travel both ways.
Oh and as for the "freedom of speech" theory. Newsflash....this little punk aka Armadinejad is not a citizen of this country. He is not here on a work visa.....hence constitutional law does not apply to him. He is an enemy of the Untied States of America. . He has no rights in this country. .

I have to answer a couple of other questions first. First of all the left does not support this Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We support freedom of speech and the freedom of ideas and the freedom to have other ideas heard whether we agree with them or not. Conservatives in this country used to believe in the same thing until Bush shredded the Constitution and made them think it was the right thing to do. Second, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sounds more like Bush and his actions are much more like Bush's as well. He has met with people like David Duke and other white supremacists from the U.S. Kind of like Trent Lot and other southern politicians tied to white supremacist groups in the south such as Council of Conservative Citizens. Also, look at what he has ordered against journalists in his country who come from other countries. These journalists are former Iranians who left the country during the 1979 coup d'etat. When they go back they are arrested and detained and a couple of them have been murdered. Just like Blackwater in Iraq has been murdering journalists in Iraq.
The man shouldn't be trusted, but Americans should be allowed to hear what he has to say directly and not mediated by the Bush White House. Why does that bother you cons so much? You've had a president in this country spreading his lies and his platform at the detriment of the Iraqi people and our Constitution. Why does hearing this guy from Iran get under your skin so much? Iran hasn't attacked any country. They don't have nukes and the entire world intelligence including the U.S intelligence and CIA knows that already. Why do you keep falling for the same old drumbeat of war propaganda and lies that the White House keeps putting out there?
You do realize that if Bush wanted this man to be kept out of the country he could do it.
BTW, no American liberal supports this man. He's speaking at a major Ivy League university who supports education and freedom of speech. If you don't like those things don't go to college. Stay ignorant.
EDIT: You didn't make a rational point for me to prove. You were ranting with misinformation and disinformation. Get your facts straight before you rant. British and American intelligence didn't tell us anything of the sort about Iran being responsible for the deaths of our GIs in Iraq. The Bush administration said this. Like I said, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad doesn't sound anything like Kerry, Durbin or Murtha, he sounds like a white supremacist from the south. More like David Duke, Trent Lott, Jesse Helms, and others who are still in office in the Southern states.
If you think I helped you prove your point, you have a reading comprehension problem.

He's on a photo op yet very dangerous. Speaks outrageous and even his own countrymen feel he has foot in mouth disease (Tehran Times reports). He wants US to hear another side? I have heard enough. I believe he would take over Iraq if he could, continue nuclear activity, work further with Russia & China no matter what and even bate Clinton into battle. She would go if provoked. Just listen as she speaks like this past Sunday's Fox & ABC stuff.
I think he best go home quietly. It will amaze me if he is not shot here. Guns from states like Virginia and fireworks all over the central corridor. Blow him up like he does our brave soldier's. I believe violence is not a cause to project more violence. But some bad guys just do not go away. Like a bad rash or pimple.
Thanks.

In some ways he reminds me of Muhamar Al Ghadafi. Gutsy and humorous. Doesn't mean I like them but this puts a bit of a new look on usually very serious Iranians.
Check out (just because) what Muhamar's second son is up to.

You will be surprised.
Have a great day.
