Actually, this can be held against him. Your ex allowing your daughter to overhear him badmouth you is something the courts frown upon.
As for the organic food thing, as long as you can afford to feed her extra healthy stuff, it's great that you can do so!

The correct answer is for the judge to determine on a full set of facts.

If all you feed your children is organic apples and nothing more, then yes, it could be considered abuse.

If you feed your children organic food in concert with a healthy lifestyle and the children are of an age to determine it is in their best interest, then it will most likely not be an issue.

Also, their overall health and age will be considering factors.

You can't just hone in on one issue in a divorce. Rather the court considers all issues are they intertwine.

FOR THOSE WHO ANSWERED: that organic food is the healthiest. I suggest you actually READ the research. First, organic doesn't mean fertilizer-free. Only chemical free. If organic fertilizer is used (such as biowaste from farm animals) and that fertilizer is contaminated, then the foods will also be contaminated.

Also, most people do not realize that even organic foods prepared in a microwave have altered chemical structures that negate any health advantages.

I think the whole organic thing is over rated. I think it's just a way to charge more. That said, it's not dangerous. So no it couldn't be used against you. You are feeding them what you believe is better food, so I don't see how that could be held against you in any way.
If you weren't feeding them, then there would be an issue. This is just a difference of opinion.

Held against you in Divorce? Are you kidding? Since when has feeding a child food that is made with no preservatives, no additives, and rich in nutrients an issue. Just don't obsess on organic. You are doing the right thing.

That's like saying it's stupid to cook your children's food rather than eating at McDonalds. Food is food and will fill your child's belly but home cooked meals are definitely healthier than McDonalds and organic foods are healthier than non organic. If anything the judge might find your ex neglectful for not maintaining the high standards you have set for your children's nutrition.

No way. Organic food is the healthiest food there is. Kudos to you for being a mom so concerned with your daughters' health.

NO.
Organic food is better for you or so the studies say.
Why would eating food that has a lot of chemicals pumped around it to stop bugs eating it be better!
i think it might have been the money part she was on about, paying the bit extra for what seems to be the same food.

No, just realize that "organic" foods are no better for you than non-organic despite the health claims to the contrary.

As long as you wash the food off well, he can't hold that against you. It is pretty much the same as non-organic.
