When the entire Iranian Paliament yells "Death To America" do liberals think they're joking?

They all yelled that when they all signed the act in which they chose to continue their nuclear program.

WHAT evidence is needed by the left in order to recognize a real threat? Actual mushroom clouds? Hundreds of thousands dead and dying from a dirtybomb?

WHAT on earth can get through to them?

Honestly (no offense liberals) I think liberals kinda live in their own little dream worlds and believe that horrible things aren't as horrible as they are and there is not so much danger as hype, despite the fact that horrible things really are horrible and the world is an extremely dangerous place. When it comes down to it, they just don't want to believe there really are evil people out there. It's like Iraq, they claim there's no justification to be there, and if you point out that destroying a dictator's iron grip of oppression on the Iraqi people, they blow you off and say something to the effect of the people liked him and there was never anything wrong and we're the oppressors. They live in a fantasy world, it's because when they were kids they ignored their problems and didn't observe how things work, they just watched Disney movies, ate candy, and played Dungeons and Dragons, I'm telling you they live in a fantasy world and are blind to what goes on in the world. It's very frustrating and frankly dangerous; hell we could be invaded by a foreign army and they wouldn't want to fight them!

Of course when such evidence is presented to most liberals or democrats they still deny it and do not accept it and then in turn say it is either made up, not true, or 'right-wing' propaganda.

So when the nuke crap hits the fan, I wonder what they will say after that. I am guessing: Why didn't Bush do something about this before it happened?

Honestly, I think they do. Liberals seem dangerously ignorant when it comes to the hatred Islamic militants have for the U.S.

And this hatred has been boiling long before the Iraq war.

Liberals need to come out of hibernation and realize that Mohammad Atta did not check the ratio of Conservatives vs. Democrats when he slammed the plane into the World Trade Center Tower.

Israel has nuclear weapons too and is not shy about threatening to use them . Why aren't you worried about the war israel might get us into and the mushroom clouds thereof?

Look,nobody believes that Iran loves us. We have given them every reason to hate us (1. we toppled their legitimate government 2. then we imposed the autocratic rule of the Sha on them and backed his terrorific secret police whose methods made the Gestapo look like Cub Scouts 3. we sided with Iraq in a long cruel war against them and gave millions of $$$ to Sadam 4. we inflicted a draconian embargo on them and didn't allow so much as a bale of barbed wire to get through for years). When they yell things like that in their parliament,yeah,I think they probably aren't feeling very friendly to us.

But we are the richest and most powerful nation on earth and it behooves us to use our heads and make friends and influence people. When will we start to realise that we do not get along with the Arab states and Iran because Israel has made it impossible for us to do so! We need our own foreign policy,not Israel's.

Bush has stated that capturing/killing Bin Laden is "no longer a priority". What does it take to get through to you? Why aren't you calling the White House every day demanding action?
