If you were informed of the paint before you moved in you are SOL. If you weren't and your children suffered medically because of it then you are entitled to the doctor bills. If nothing has happened to your kids, then you aren't entitled to anything except for the landlord coming in and stripping the paint and putting new paint up.

Look at your lease. It probably says that in there. Not to mention that is you are leasing and apartment over 35 years old you should EXPECT lead paint to be present.

Ask you land lord for some paint and touch up the areas.

You most likely have lead crystal at home that you spent allot of money on,

No you can't sue-- you can ask the landlord for some paint so that YOU can repaint.

Quit trying to profit from other peoples misfortunes...

At the least it makes you look cheap... at the most dishonest...
