Bushspur, you're wrong. The Constitution allows CITIZENS of the USA fundamental rights of freedom, not a foreign leader. Read the Constitution, Sir, and know what you're saying before you say it, please?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ZERO rights in our Country. The idiotic U. of Columbia has the right to express themselves as the azz-kissers of who ever hates America.

Technically.. no.. it's not an inalienable human right.. rather a Constitutional right of Citizens... as shown by not allowing him to speak at the 9/11 crash sight (which I agree with.. he shouldn't be allowed to go there and speak.. in which he would most likely support the terrorists)... but I see no problem with him speaking at a University... it's not like there won't be plenty of people talking about how big of a dope he is... nor is it like the University is going to be telling their students to follow his will or something.... It's just good material for people to talk about.. and to actually use their brains... and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't know why liberals like him to begin with. He oppresses gays in his country and women. A newspaper that interviewed a gay Muslim that used to live in Iran he halted production and did not allow the article or newspaper to come out due to it having an interview with a "heathen". He keeps women covered up head from toe, forced to be accompanied by men if go out in public and have next to no rights. He yells out death to America, England and Israel. Attends rallies called Death to Israel rally.
I say the only right he has over here is to be handcuffed and tried. If anything, shipped over to England for his kidnapping and act of war concerning his seizing British Naval ships and soldiers.

How much of this country actually belongs to you? Foreign nations have collected their debt in land...Freedom of speech doesn't require that those who hear your speech agree with it. It only implies that you have to take responsibility for what you say, be it libelous, or slanderous. That man is the head of a sovereign nation and has every right to speak in the United Nations. The fervor is over the fact that he spoke his mind about Jews and since the United States has pledged her undying support to Israel, and AIPAC is alive and well in the White House, they will feign outrage. Plus, Iran stands in the way of their global domination. They are already setting up the dumbed-down American people to accept a war against Iran.

I suppose you can ask the same of the leader of our armed forces... should he be in Iraq? What's happening in America is that our government is being bullied by special interest groups and international lobbysts. I'm certain that if Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is being allowed to address people in our country it is because it serves a convenient purpose for our government.

Sure he has a right to free speech but why would Columbia invite him to speak? Would they invite the leader of the KKK?
