Safe, relatively, but restart it periodically, esp if runnig Windows

more space, buy a new hard disc, install it, or if you don't want to open case, buy a USB hard drive . . . like the "Western Digital My Book" range

It is perfectly safe to leave the computer running 24 hours a day, remember to use power saving mode though!

To get more space for your computer, you need to get a larger hard drive or uninstall programs you have on your existing one.

If it is a PC or a laptop, I personally would not leave it on 24 hours a day. It is a myth that your computer will 'wear out faster' if you turn it off a lot. Really the only machines that are designed to be left on all the time is servers. Personal PCs and laptops are just not designed to be left on all the time. Running PCs generate heat and heat can be deadly to your computer....

It's safe, but it burns a lot of energy. Al Gore has asked us all to turn our computers all the way off when not in use.

i have left my comuter for 2 years 25/7 on and nothing had happend .
now u said that u whant more space go to www.newegg.com
and get a harddrive there cheap make sure u get a 7200rpm
and check if your computer uses sata or ide .

Yep. Turn the monitor off. As for more space, delete programs that you don't use. Oh. unplug your computer before a lightning storm.

Yes, I never shut my computer off; just let it hibernate.

By a bigger hard drive and more memory.

it's actually safe to leave your pc on all day long but i think it's more safe to leave it off when you want to save money with regards to your electricity bills.. it's funny but it's worth noting..

u can leave it ion all day, i do, internet cafes do! if u close it everytime its not so good, it makes it slower, if u want more space get a larger amount of gb hardrive
