A website said that if you figure it astrologically, Samhain is actually on November 8th this year. Is that right?

Because of various wobbles in the Earth's orbit, and the fact that old pagans did not have computers to calculate for them the exact moments of astronomical occurrances, we pagans allow for some leeway of when exactly a holiday is celebrated. I personally don't stress about it and celebrate when the moment is right for me.

Sometimes custom overrules astronomical precision. Sometimes not, everyone may do as they like.
