It's very strange. I know for me it started with beginning stages of puberty. I don't think it's anything specific about the butt, just a natural curve of a woman's body. And now with attention given to it from tv, music and other avenues it has become cliche to reference a woman's butt.

Well some are, some are not (like Richard Simmons). Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but anyway I say it comes down to Animal instinct, it's just something that common men are attracted too, as some girls obsess about men's pecs, butt, and other areas.
I don't know about girls rear ends, but wasn't it Froyed who suggested men who are obsess with womens chest get it from being bress feed as a child?

Why not? It is a part of the body that is liked by men..
Butts are attractive and give a nice shape to the body!

I love butts, i am a butt man. It is just the way the world is. Why do men like boobs. It really doesnt make sense, it is just fat on women chests.

Men like something to grab onto!! ha, ha. I do have a butt and have been told many times that it's a nice, tight butt!! Men also like boobs too. They love T & A!!! It's just a man thing.

I'm not obsessed with girls bottoms, but as long as it is in proportion with the rest of the body that's cool. Ow and before you think it, I'm not a fan of big Brest's ether. they look stupid if they are also to big ;-)

It's just the nature of the beast. I like badunkadunk butts, so big and round you can almost place a drink on 'em.
