From all signs Republicans hate socialism. OK. And Republicans are really mad Ajmadinajab (sp?) is in NY, because he hates Israel. OK Apparently then Republicans support Israel --OK

The questions: 1. Are you aware Israel is a very socialist nation?

2. Israeli's provide for all their citizens gas masks to defend against gas attacks. Americans have to buy duct tape if they want protection. The second question: could socialism be a better system for a nation faced with terrorism?

3. When you come to your Republican opinions, do you ask yourself questions based on outside research and your own thought, or do you just accept what your leaders tell you?

PFO - I appreciate the response, and the link.
I then went on to read the entire article. Did you? The title might make you think that Israel has already left off with socialism... the actual article reveals that is the direction the author predicts the country is going.

Here's the conlcusion:

One such "last resort" occurred in 1983 when the four leading banking networks were tottering on the brink of collapse. The government moved to guarantee the price of the shares of these banks on the stock market, picking up several billion dollars of such shares in the process. So, today, although these four banks are not in the legal sense "stateowned" companies, they are something close to it since the government holds about 70 percent of their shares, and can find few buyers.

Clearly, the road from socialism will offer many challenges in the coming years.

jeepers. I'm aware of democrats supporting Israel. I'm just wondering about republicans who support an openly socialist regime.

Personally, I support Israel up to the point where they do sneaky covert stuff and have un recorded nuclear weapons... then I temper my support.

Israel is socialist? Since when? Read this: http://www.theadvocates.org/freeman/8909dean.html

Israelis need gas masks for protection. We don't have as great a need as they do.

Mostly outside research.

i admire how cutting-part libs attempt to take great thing approximately each social substitute in historical past, yet once you remind them that Democrats supported slavery, they won't be able to handle that little effortless actuality. this is on your #a million--regardless what took place then, we've the main appropriate to vote and characteristic for as long because it concerns to all people now. In my finished working existence, I even have by no skill been paid much less for the comparable interest than a guy. 3. You know I base everything I post on outside research by the most reliable sources, to which I cite.

That you continue to stubbornly refuse to accept facts is not something I can control. But I hope that when people with an open mind see an exchange of "you must hate the planet go suck on a tailpipe neokkkkkkkon repuke!" versus BLS data showing quite clearly that the whole class warfare argument is made-up, they'll see the light.
