Many Democrats vote and keep approving the Patriot Act too though, it's not just the administration. I've never seen them care or flinch at critics of the Patriot Act.

People have a need to be right. The patriot act,and just about everything that this current administration stands for is questionable.Conformists will always talk about being a traitor, but are they not treasonist for trading their free freedoms for protection due to the all out propaganda machines fear tactics? When humans are lead to believe what they are told they will bend and break every account to make their claims seem righteous. You can never get thru to the "moral majority".

They are threatened by anything we say that's contradicting to their agenda because they are corrupt and don't want anyone getting in their way of handling things the way they deem fit.
That's why people have been arrested for reading the Constitution in public and taken off to jail.
And if you think the Bush Administration is corrupt then just wait until 2008 when we end up with a Democrat in the White House.
You haven't seen nothin yet.

Not only that, but why are there "free speech zones" set up in cities when Bush and Cheney come to visit? After all, I thought that the First Amendment was valid in ALL parts of the US, not just the ones Bush and Cheney can't see. I guess that for all his cowboy posturing, Bush simply isn't man enough to face his critics.

They have established a delusion/mindset re this war on te_ror and don't want anyone opening this can of worms.
The fact they got by with the pushed through doctored report on the 'attack' has given them much momentum and followers.

If they are threatened, I don't see it.
They are still doing whatever they want and the congress is funding it.
Hillary Clinton voted for the Patriot act in 2001 and she voted for the renewal in 2006.
So, what's the problem?

Because they have somehow actually bought the notion that Bush is God's President, and we all know you aren't supposed to argue with God.
No, I'm not kidding. I really do think they take themselves that deadly seriously.

Well, ya see, there's the rub. So much of the criticism isn't valid. Or so much of the criticism comes from folks, like you, whose only alternatives have been either to quit or do nothing in the first place.
So, you see...and I hate to break it to you, but just because YOU criticise, doesn't mean it's valid. Think about it.

There is a differance between valid and constructive criticism. If it is only your opinion and you have no solution to the problem, then your criticism is not valid. Peace
