What did you think of it

I'm at work, so haven't seen it yet. I'll see it on Virgin's on-demand service when I get home. I'll edit this and let you know what I think then. I'm certainly looking forward to it though.

OK - seen it now. Yes, I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was quite as good as "Invasion of the Bane", but was certainly good fun, as I suspected it might be.

I thought the guys acting the Slitheen were a bit over the top, and perhaps not taking it seriously enough. I'll let them off with that one since it's a programme aimed at kids though. The woman who acted one of the Slitheen, however, (the one who attacked Sarah Jane in the office) was very menacing I thought and probably should have had a bigger role to play.

The kids who comprised most of the main cast all seemed very comfortable in their roles, even the new guy who didn't appear in the pilot, and Elizabeth Sladen was wonderful as always, of course.

On the whole, the series should make for an entertaining diversion while we're waiting for the new series of Torchwood.

Edit: I should add for anybody who needs to know - very annoyingly, Virgin only put part 2 on their "on demand" service, because pt1 was shown on BBC1 and pt2 was on CBBC. I had to use other means to see part 1.
