I prefer the same. My mind is more entertained when it's merely led by words, than being treated like a baby: restricted by certain actors, certain situations, certain voices. Let me make my own and feel it the way my mind prefers.

depends i would rather read a comic book more than i would like to watch tv. however i love the history channel? regular books are good i just don't have enough time to get involved in a book.

I love to read, and a good book can be so much more interesting than tv any old day. I do however love a good movie, but I am really not much of a tv person to begin with anyway.

Depends on what the TV has to offer. Will I surf for hours to find something no, I'll just grab a book.
