A house... because you have it to yourself.

I guess with an apartment you have more neighbors closer to you, and that could be cool.. but I have memories of living in apartments and having the guy living underneath me use a stick to knock the ceiling as a message to quiet down.

So that's annoying.

What is better: A house!
Why:
You don't have to share walls with noisy people you don't know
You have your own driveway
You don't encounter people every time you go outside
You don't have to share a dumpster with strangers
You have more privacy
You don't have to listen to someone walking around upstairs
You can have a dog
You usually have a garage
There aren't so many people in such a small area
You don't have to worry so much about disturbing your neighbors

A house by far. We used to have an apartment and every night the moron downstairs would come home from work and blast his Nintendo or T.V. It wasn't difficult to convince him to turn it down. But people are so rude in apartments. they don't care at all about your quiet time or privacy. They act like every one wants to hear their crap.

Å house of course, because rather than blowing your money renting, if you have a house it's something you pay on that you may own someday. Also you don't have to deal with upstairs neighbors like I have.
