Plasma only if you watch the same channel all the time you get a icon burn. Did you ever get burned?

all of the time...I need to stop that because I have a Plasma and am very paranoid about "burn in" even though they say it doesn't exist on the newer models. They're lying so I spend more money on a bigger tv...it's a vicious cycle...I'm out of breath now. I think I need to smoke.
Things have been knows to get hot.

My place is like a Mausoleum without background T.V. noise...so I turn it on sometimes just to break the "tomb-like" silence of the place...and I watch it in between answering and asking all these damn things...

Only when I'm cleaning, and then I'm listening to the music channels. I work better if I have music.

Mine stays on non stop. For the dogs while I'm at work, and at home for background noise and to go to sleep to. I ahve to have the TV on to go to sleep.

I have to tell you, I love to go over and turn off the T.V.
As soon as the room empties I end the rambling.
To me, silence is golden.
