I have so many favorite things about Autumn! The cool weather and the leaves changing and falling (even though now that I bought a house, I will be raking those leaves) are my two faves. I love being able to wear a sweatshirt and not be too cold, and walking around looking at all the different colors. Unfortunately, here in NC, fall and spring don't last very long, we have LOOOOONG summers and long winters. Its about 90 degrees outside right now!

Nice cooler air, colorful leaves and getting ready for a road trip through the Smokie Mountains from Texas to Virginia. Love the continueing change of fall colors around every bend & over every rise in the road. So Beautiful ~~~~jill

When Autumn leaves turn to gold. I like to walk through the forest and discover different coloured fungi. The woods have a special atmosphere and smell at this time of year-which put me in a nostalgic mood.

Sitting in front of my fire watching my soaps just after putting my little one to bed.It`s so nice knowing your inside when it`s cold outside.Especially because i can only do this three nights a week as i work the other four nights.
Oh and my birthday is in autumn,so that`s a bonus,even though it`s getting less exciting as i`m getting older.
I know get the violins out....LOL

Autumn is my favorite thing to happen in the fall...I like to ride into the mountains and look at the changing colors...plus all the really good apples are being harvested..

The weather cools down and the leaves turn gorgeous colors! I particularly love watching them glide to the ground, twisting and twirling in a most graceful way! I love the scent of wood burning stoves and the sound of chainsaws buzzing! I love the thunderstorms and promises of winter snow, blustery winds and cuddling under a down comforter with the window wide open!

I love the temp. where I live in Autumn. It is a nice cool feeling and you can wear jeans and a sweatshirt and be alright. I also love the color of the changing leaves. They are gorgeous where I live.

its the season that inspires the most 'emotion' in me....i love the colours, and the melancholy feelings that come with autumn. I do my best creative work then, and am most inspired even though i do feel a little bit down and bittersweet and think back a lot to my childhood too....

All of it, its my all time favorite time of year, changing leaves, cooler weather means more snuggling, holidays, family getting together, warmer clothes, no more sweating to death, the change in clothes (sweaters), the smell of pumpkin pie and spices, decorating the house in fall colors, the whole feeling of autumn, I just love it!!
