No trailer park would be complete without an old camaro. Likewise, most younger folk with Mustangs seem to think they are the fastest and best built muscle/race car ever (even if it only has a 4- or 6-cylinder engine in it!). Let's settle this right now!!

I'll add that I am a redneck by many's definition simply because I drive a 4x4 truck. My question, however, is not about which automobile is the most redneck but which of the camaro or mustang is more redneck. thanks.

definately the camaro. The camaro is a classic movie car for rednecks. Think "Joe Dirt" and the camaro that Kid Rock drove in that movie. That image of Kid Rock with a mullet driving an IROC camaro is the picture perfect image of redneck.

How could you possibly think either of those cars is redneck? Any old car up on blocks in a yard is redneck, but let's not single out two of the coolest cars of all time! Give me a genuine Camaro or classic Mustang any day!

Actually rednecks drive pickups. Camaro's are for cool people And Mustangs are for people who don't know any better. One of the reasons they think there so great. There just like the ricer crowd.

I think if it has to be a sports car I would say Mustang because the Ford pickup has always been the red neck's first choice so they would stick with the Ford.

Fords suck! But I agree with Gary about the trucks. I live in Georgia and all the rednecks have big trucks that you need a ladder to climb up in, including my husband.
