I don't suppose he thought it rude, its just that the back of your dressing gown was caught up in the belt and as you walked past him he could see your whole bare backside.

He was probably a little puzzled by this as he was unsure quite what this signified.

Then he remembered that there's an old Chinese proverb that says: "When Full Moon is seen unexpectedly, Chinese man may dream of Wang King"! As everybody knows, this is a place that Chinese men are apt to think about when they are feeling nostalgic for their homes.

You have done NOTHING wrong.

If he is such a prude that seeing someone in dressing gown and slippers causes him discomfort, he needs to take a long look at himself.

If you were covered then there is no problem.
Personally i'd tell him to get a life and if he didn't like the way the house (or people in the house), he should move out.

It's rude of him, not you! You shouldn't have to feel like you can't walk out of the bathroom in your dressing gown just 'cos of him. He doesn't own the house & you weren't parading around in all your naked glory, so he had no reason to throw a tantrum. Just ignore him next time; he's being silly. X

Ask him, maybe you need a new roomate.
My son has had girlfriends from different Asian cultures and we even lived for one year with he and his Korean girlfriend and they are open just like anyone else.He had a Chisnese girlfriend and I have seen her in her bathrobe,he just sounds weird to me.

He's a bloke what do you expect, it might be wise to put something on whilst around the guy, he might be getting the wrong impression.
