Just go out and investigate, or find a local group and ask if you can go along on an investigation.

Experience? In what?
Coercing little old frightened gullible ladies out of their welfare cheques?
Come off it, other than your own selfish need to rip off the naive, uneducated and weak minded why on earth would any logical person think that there exists a need for such a 'job'?

Since paranormal investigators as a rule do not charge for their services, I'm afraid that finding a paying job will be very difficult.

You aren't going to make a very good living doing this sort of thing. It's really more of a hobby. You also don't require anything in the way of education or credentials if all you wish to do is hunt for anomalies.

If your willing to move (if you live in the US) and acquire dual citizenship you might be able to be a paid student researcher leading to a PhD. I have included the link below for you.

Start your own business... go self employed, better than working for someone else.

Well, if you are telling the truth, you can take up James Randi's offer of $1,000,000 to anyone who can prove it.
If you don;t want to make money from it, you could give it to a children's charity.
Can you please add a details and answer the question above as to why you are not a fraud or just naive?
