I loved the movie, yes its a little crazy and explicit but it was so entertaining...What do you think?

Excellently movie, absolutely loving it. Grim, dirty look at drug addiction. Aronofsky captured both the beauty and horrors of this unique story. The book by Hubert Selby Jr. is even better. The craziness and explictness of the film is necessary to show how terribly these drugs affected the characters. Wonderfully acted, especially Ellen Burstyn. Truly haunting experience.

I feel bad for the mom at the end because she's all messed up in a fantasy land, Leto looses a limb, Connely does all that for drugs and/or money. I agree on the cinematography but it was still a trip.

Yeah, very original cinematography, it is rated on the top 250 movies of all time at IMDB.

excellent movie...if you liked requiem...you should see spun...that was a good one too...
