I am 42 now,and say 70.
20 years ago,I probably would have said 50.
It is all perspective ;-)

Age is a state of mind, you are only as old as you feel. Over the hill begins at 18, cause your going so fast you do not realize your wheels are about to fall off, over the hill, is when all 4 tires are blown out and you can't roll any longer. Over the hill, well there is no such thing.....LOL

That is subjective. Truly depends an where you are on the hill. Every time I think I'm getting close to the top I realize that I still have a long ways to go which is fine cause I heard the other side of the hill is a nearly sheer cliff falling away into oblivion.

They say over the hill is at the age of 50. I would say being over the hill is a state of mind.
I know some people my age and younger (I'm in my 30's) who b/c of how they act and the lifestyle they lead it would make them over the hill.
Then I know some folks who are over 50 and living life like they are still in their early 20's!

Don't know. I am 76 and don't think I am over the hill yet. Not mentally, sexually or physically. A bit slower perhaps . But make up for a lot with experience. Interesting to see other peoples views.

It would definitely depend on who's asking ... to some 70 year old, I'm still a young hot thing (I'm 50). To YOU, I'm sure I'm over the hill! Some folk are young at heart all their lives ... others are over the hill at 22.

life begins at 40 but where i live theres no real age for being over the hill.i'm in a small village where old people in thier 60s still come out to see live rock bands!i think its not so much an age as a mental state, which could even happen in early thirties!

I will not consider myself 'over the hill' until I am literally OVER A HILL. When I'm dead and lying in the ground, if I happen to be literally over a hill... then I suppose I will be 'over the hill' until then, I HATE this term!

Rather strangely, I think you'd be over the hill as soon as you felt too old to even get up the hill.
Personally, I'm just going round it, as I can't see the point in wasting the effort to climb it. There's so much else to do in life that's much more fun,
