Im not sure if the current tight end is very good.
i the packers are going to make a shot at the superbowl, they will need a tight end who can catch. lol :)

Not this season. They have average TEs now that show flashes of greatness but they also like to drop too many passes. Right now they have a problem with the running game. So they haven't been passing out of a lot of double TE sets or even having a TE on the field. Such as yesterday they were going with 4 WRs on the goal line. They have good enough TEs to get by, but one that could stretch the field would make Favre drool. Unfortunately there's not many of those and not any they'll be able to get.

go back to watching preseason films. do you know who our 3rd tight end is? zac alcorn. got decent speed, and i kid you not, he has caught every pass in his direction, ranging from diving catches to big hits after the catch. the only thing is he needs a little work on blocking the rbs. that would be the only reason why he's not starting i guess. if that's not the reason, then its because he wasnt a top draft pick. this guy looks good though.

I dont no about a tight end but they are going to get a top notch deep reciever in a couple of weeks named Koren Robinson

um bubba franks is good 2 tds in 3 games and im not even a packers fan
