The Dallas Cowboys have the entire package for a winning team. A quarterback that is not afraid, a running back that can tear a defense apart, a top wide receiver, a reliable tight end, and a defense that can stop the run.
Take a look at the best teams now and ever in football. That is why San Diego, Cincinatti, Baltimore, and Chicago can't win. That is also what makes them better than Green Bay. Green Bay has almost the entire package. They just need an improved running game.
I am an AFC fan by far, but the NFC definitely looks more competitive this year and I am highly looking forward to the NE-Dal game.

Dallas has the team in the NFC but the Packers are close behind them I think the Packers are very underrated Nick Barnett and AJ Hawk with Woodson and Harris on the corners the defense is wayyyy underrated and Favre proves he still has it so look out for Green bay

at first glance it would be the Cowboys, then the Packers. However, Dallas is supposed to have a good defense yet allowed the Giants to score 35 points, the Pack allowed only 13 points. Dallas manhandled the Bears but their defense has weakened and their offense was never much to brag about. Rivers had a 75% completion percentage, 3 TDs and still lost.
Despite the fact the Packers have no running game, I'm going to have to say the Packers. Their confidence is riding high on their 7 game winning streak starting from last year. They won their last 4 games on defense and now they are winning with defense and offense.

Right now I'd say Dallas is the clear leader in the NFC. Green Bay is 3-0, but look for them to start getting picked apart as teams really start preparing for them, and for Favre to show his age. I expect Carolina and Seattle to start pulling down some wins as well. Arizona will continue to improve too. I wouldnt count out Leinhart, the Ravens D is far better than most of what he'll face for the rest of the season.

Looks like Green Bay ended up with a good team. They're 3-0 and number one in NFC.

The Cowboys...
Packers are looking good, too. As long as Brett stays healthy... No broken hip yet!
