I saw last weeks clip. I may have guessed who the mystery stalker is. But is the character of Ian Beale going to survive, or is it the end ?

I'm strangely interested

I heard a theory today that he's not going to be in Eastenders for 3 weeks (ooh the mystery!) and then will return, then they'll release a DVD detailing "Ian's Missing Weeks"...

Dunno if that's true....

Yes of course he does, the writer pays an actor to act the part of Ian Beale who writes the stories. For gods sake what a stupid question !!

They hinted at the fact that he could be,but I highly doubt it,remember when Pauline left we knew that she was going to be going for a while it was just the matter of how,Adam Woodyat is one of Eastenders's longest running actors,I doubt they will get rid of him,all this drama is for the ratings and to build onto the storyline.

No, hes staying. Deano, Kevin, Carly and Denise are the only characters leaving.

I thought I heard he was going out of it but that was way back when the car went in the lake and there was speculation then that he was killed so not really sure .....

In April he renewed his contract for another year, so that would mean they wouldn't be in discussions till at least January about him renewing for the next one. So I guess he is staying for awhile.

I hope so, he's going so stale, almost mouldy on the soap now.
