The only best way to advertise your site is by having a website. The web is one of those things that will reach everyone and anyone around the world. Record your radio shows that you do and upload them as podcasts that can be available on your site. This does not cost much because you are just paying for the site to setup. If you have ITunes then you can convert regular recordings into podcasts. You then upload them onto your site available for visitors to listen to.

Look around you - how do other people advertise things? On the internet the options are almost limitless! The most effective methods are generally banner exchanges, having a MySpace, and generally getting out there in relevant web communities and spreading the word.

Write it up as nicely as you're able, send it by Special Delivery to the radio and television stations, followed up by a telephone call. Often times, you'll see a Current Events column in your newspzper so you should send them a copy as well. To the extent possible, include pictures and promotional materials. If appropriate, get notices to the local schools.

Wanna go to an extreme?
(1) Register a domain name and write a website.
(2) Look up SEO (Search Engine Optimization) on Google; buy a one-time service to promote your website.
(3) Buy into Google Adwords to promote your search results on Google.
(4) Look into similar mechanisms for Yahoo (I'm not familiar with the way Yahoo! works in this matter...)
(5) Newspaper ads in your town!

Simple use the internet, make a web page tell them about your radio station, millions of people use the internet plus use your friendster or myspace

If it's a shoutcast server register with nullsoft, if not build yourself decent web page and submit it to google.com
