should the toilet paper roll dispense from the top or the bottom?

my wife says top, i say bottom. i was wondering if it was a gender thing, but i seem to be in the minority. i glad my wife is not an "answers" person or i would have to admit she's right.

I answered this same Q about 15 minutes ago. I say over the top. The only way to put it on. I am female.

from the top... i am female... and being trained in hotel housekeeping, every hotel had it at the top. so it is habit now..
but i also have a houseful of people who do not care. so i give up, as long as there is ANY toilet paper i am happy lmao....

From the top - it drives me insane when it is put on upside down!! (I'm a woman if it makes any difference.)

Neither. It sits on my bathroom counter. lol
my husband never would replace the empty roll, so I just started putting it on the counter. Works for us. lol
