I couldn't get into it at all, maybe my expectations were too high.

Too many plot holes and ridiculousness, like when there was the outbreak in the med centre why were all the people put into that one room without any guards to keep them safe? How did two kids sneak off the island when it was so well guarded? Why werent there any british troops? ...it was all a bit naff.

If you saw 28 days later you shouldn't have had too much of a problem, in 28 weeks later one of the infected had immunity to the virus but was a carrier, her son was the same and that's why Europe had to be nuked.

28 weeks later is one of the best Horror Sequal of this Year. But i personally Like 28 days later more than 28 weeks later.

You've answered the question yourself.

I saw it and enjoyed it but then my expectations weren't high of it as I'd heard a lot of bad reviews. I must admit I prefered 28 days later but still this wasn't a bad film.

Well, for a movie with zombies, it was pretty good. Better than the first one (28 days later). If you are not into that kind of movie, you are not going to like it. It was good. Maybe you should have seen the first one.

I saw it this weekend just passed and I really enjoyed it. I understand people's comments on the "Americanisation" of the film, but I think this is due in part to the feel of it being less claustrophobic than the original.

What annoyed me was the fact that Robert Carlyle was able to "hunt" for his prey rather than just go completely mental, and they did not expand on it.

But as you can see from the ending they have left it open for another one to be made.

i haven't seen it and am a bit afraid to because i don't want to be disappointed. 28 days later is probably one of my favorite films and don't want to tarnish my love for it by seeing the sequel. i've heard mixed things about it, but i'll probably see it anyways. i just with cilian murphy were in the sequel. he's so sexy.

Because it was awful. It had a horrible story line. Hopefully people will have seen the first film though. Because that was a very good movie.
