Yes, indeed the media is portraing a live style that is impectible for the normal person. I do not like what some of these famous folks are doing. Drinking, doing drugs, living a lavish life style. I think they are too spoiled. To strung faced and to hypocrytical. They think the world owes them, when in reality no one owns the world. They are just spoiled rotten.

I think the media shows us how glamourous being famous is and a lot of people want it with the lavish parties and all the expensive stuff.
I personally would not like to be famous. I just want to have a comfortable life and be happy.
I do not need to be rich although it would be nice.
Quite honestly, I think I would still be unhappy if I was rich because I would still be single and that is what really keeps me unhappy.

it is because they want money for anything. it does my head in. im 14 and i actually want a 'proper job'. i want to be a doctor, but ask other people at my school and they will say actor/actress or singer ect. i dont know why people do it, for example on x-factor they are all so talentless it completely goes against the idea of the programme.

I wanted to be famous long, long before any of these tv shows were even thought of.
It's a desire to be loved my millions, regonised for your talents/ gifts & get paid rather handsomely for it.

In today's Paris Hilton culture, I don't really understand it at all.
