I am hosting my Groom's dinner in the Bay area in May. I am looking for suggestions on restaurants (must be able to accomidate a party of 20-25) I am looking for something fairly neutral, nothing too exotic and not too overly extravagant. We are planning on finding a hotel in the area for the night, before heading up 101 for the wedding. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Il Fornaio in Corte Madera, across 101 from Nordstroms / Macy's shopping center. Good Italian and moderate pricing. They do have a restaurant in Walnut Creek area w/a room for large parties, so I'm assuming this one does too. I think you can google them.

There's a great place in Healdsburg, right off the 101 called Dry Creek Kitchen. It's located in the Healdsburg Hotel so you can satisfy your need for dinner and a place to stay al in one location.
