There is nothing wrong with you. It is the ones who hurt you that have something wrong with themselves. As you mature do not let your trust of others wither away. Do not let go of your trust regardless of the pains others would bring your way.
I grew up trusting people, I still do. I have had things stolen from me, I have been slandered, I have been set up, I have been made a fool more that a couple of times. But I have deep friends who trust me, I have great loves from my circle of friends, and acquaintances, I have beautiful memories from people I only knew for a week and have lost touch from, I have a peace of mind that does not hurt me because I have trusted all my life.
The rewards of your trust will come to outweigh the abuse you've received by far.
If you have this issue with trust then I can tell you... one day you'll find the wisdom to keep it and not allow the thugs you've met through your life to steal it away from you.
You don't have to be a doormat to maintain your trust in people, but darlin you don't have to give up a sweet and great part of your life to feel secure in your self either.
Keep your trust, and trust that one day you will see why you should keep your trust.

You seem to be an emotional and soft hearted type of person. Many people are of that type. The best way to deal with such kind of problems is to start mixing with people.
Try to develop extrovert nature. By this, you come across many people. You try to learn their behaviours and you learn a lot in the process.
Observe the behaviours of someone who you think is able to deal with people very effectively.
Discuss this problem with your parents who will advise you the best.
One day a lady who would stay adjecent to my house asked me to drop her son to school which was next to my office. She would tell me that her daughter was very small
so she could not carry her out. I had no problems as I was anyway going to office. I used to think that by dropping her son to school if I am helping a poor woman
then why not do that?
I soon observed that another lady with same status was dropping her son to school. She would her put her youngr daughter in pram and walk down.
Then I realised that kids was not a problem for the first lady.
Slowly, I discovered that the husband of first lady would come late. Then they would chit-chat, watch movies etc and thats why she wanted to sleep late and she was using some
other execuse.
Jist : You should also develop habit of oberving and analysing things.

I think its an advantage to know the difference between being a trusting person and a naive person.
you can trust but you must also be fully aware of the consequences involved in trusting the person or situation.
for example if you trust a guy you have just met in a bar and allow your trust to give you poor judgement then you will end up saying 'yes' when he offers you a lift home and you could end up putting yourself in danger
Trust is not a bad personality trait to have as long as you still make well informed intelligent decisions as a result.

well... You seem fairly young still... it's good to be a trusting person at a young age (within reason.. don't trust old men with candy or anything like that... I'm just saying friends and that sort of thing)... and don't worry... you'd be lucky to still be such a trusting person later in life... most likely scars from life lessons will take care of the "trusting problem" for you.

I do the same thing. I trust easily and I am too naive setting myself up to get hurt. Get to know people well before you trust them all together. Be friends with people but realize they make me mistakes, too. Trust is built in time and on the right actions. Good Luck!

definitely this world for your...
even after many sufferings... you will get more and more strength to be honest and trust worthy... trusting the world, trusting the people is natural... you are so natural...
"mis-using" your trust and "cheating you" are done by others and not your mistake.. be happy...
you will get better people and better chance again and again
the cheat will land in trouble by some one... whereas you will never face such problem..
even if lost every thing.. your mind will be more free.. you will getting best chance in your life...
