What do you think of the movie Eraserhead?

I was really blown away the first time I saw this movie. Each additional viewing just drives home why this movie is such a work of art. When i've shown it to friends though, they usually don't like it. So I want to know if it impressed you. Why or why not??

Yes, I love Easerhead. I still don't know what the hell is going on, but every time i see it it always amazes me. It's funny and horrifying and gruesome, but it is a work of art.
