News flash! I am 60 and still quite often do not feel like a grown up. Then I walk buy the mirror and after thinking, "what the tweet is my mother doing in there?" I continue on trying to act like an adult. I don't even like the work: adult. Maybe it should be A dolt.

Well I am fixng to be 29. I can honestly say that I did not begin to fee different until about a year ago. I have had kids since I was 18. but even then through all of those life changing events mentaly and emotionally I still felt as if I was in high school. It was after my divorce and I had time to reflect that I began to see things differently and want different things in my life. Like now. I have met a man that is wonderful! He has goals and this I never thought I would want but now I do. It takes some longer than others but in time ti will happen.

Well, I feel sort of grown up. I have a house and bills and all that good stuff, but I still don't feel like a grown up. Maybe that happens when you have kids.

When I was about 22 years old. Living at home with my parents seemed ridiculous, weird, and uncomfortable for me at that time because you become your own person different from your parents and ready to be responsible and on your own.

1994...it was the first family reunion after my Grandma passed away. She was the last survivor of her generation. Her passing caused all of the generations to move up one step. It was a very poignant and sobering realization for myself and my cousins.
