Book everything through Disney. If you check with them they usually have wedding deals and honeymoon deals all year round. My wife and I went there on our honeymoon for 7 days (14 years ago) and spent about $3000 total, including spending money, the works, and we stayed at the Polynessian, which is one of the most expensive on the property.
Whichever resort you decide to stay, make sure you are on property. Disney takes great care of their resort guests, especially the newlyweds. We had a bottle of champagne and fruit basket sitting in our room when we arrived, and we had anything we needed at our fingertips. You will have a great time!

Ball Park Budget for 2 adults - 4 days at Disney:
Hotel Range:
Value Resort - $90-$100 a night
Moderate Resort - $140-$250 a night
Deluxe Resort - $300 - $450 a night
Meals, park tickets, snacks and souvenirs - averaged: $450 per person.
This budget reflects an average of $15-$20 per each meal (typically only one sit down meal per day- not including breakfast) and a $50 budget for souvenirs. Also reflects a 4 day base ticket - not hoppers.

My wife and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon in June. We didn't stay a Disney resort, but we went all the parks, blizzard beach, pleasure island, and disney quest. I think we spent around $1500-$2000 on food, tickets, and shopping. We stayed at the Sheraton Orlando North. It is a very nice hotel and I believe it was only around $100/night. The only downfall is that it is about a 15 minute drive to the parks. Travel totally depends on where you are coming from.

me and my bf (hope he proposes soon), went 2x and are going again next month. We go for about 1 week and stay at the Value resorts. We're just at our hotel to sleep. You can go to any other resort to eat/or rent watercraft. This trip for next month we got park hopper and more, meal plan, and value resort, plus 200/pp airfare and it cost about 2200$ total. I recommend the park hopper and water fun/more tickets. They're great for switching parks throughout the day and you can get into the waterparks, pleasure island, and disneyquest as much as you want to. Like others said, it is great to go to www.disneyworld.com and on their homepage you can start planning your vacation. I play around with dates, resorts, meal packages, etc. Just to get an idea of what things would cost, price differences, etc. There is no obligation what-so-ever. Just go there are try your travel dates, select different meal plans, types of tickets, different resorts, etc. and find what works best for you. Also while doing this, you may be invited to "chat" with a castmember from Disneyworld.com they're pretty helpful in answering things. Hope i helped. Congratulations! Disney is a fun place to go! -tons for adults to do too

well Disney can be as expensive as you want it to be. If you are traveling on a budget there are lots of things you can do from staying off property (though with rental cars and what not can end up costing you more) to packing lots of snacks that you take with you in the parks so that you avoid buying expensive snacks in the park to buying discounted tickets from an AUTHORIZED ticket outlet (http://www.orlandofuntickets.com I have had good success with.)
Just depends on the experience that you are looking for. The best thing to do would be to build your vaction on http://www.disneyworld.com and just see what the retail price of what you want to do is and then start slashing from there.
hope this helped.

If you want a real figure, you should go to www.disneyworld.com and quote your vacation. You don't have to pay anything, just get the quote. You can get a quote for packages or room only rates. All you have to do is click on your dates and then it will give you a list of all of their resorts, click on the one that you are most interested in and then it will give you a price quote for that week, plus it will give you other alternatives with other quotes. Along with the resort it will figure in the park tickets (length of stay) with all the add on options. If you don't like what they are giving you, you can edit to what you want. Then you can click on what type of package you want and if you want the dining plan or not. You can even figure in your airfare if you want to. This is what I do when wanting to know how much it is going to be for a week that we are interested in going. Good luck and congrats on your wedding.

The best thing I did when we went to Disney World was buy the food package card. You can eat almost anywhere in any park and you just swiped your card. The portions are gigantic by Canadian standards, and even included theme restaurants and really nice romantic restaurants. It helped us keep on a budget.

we just got back Sunday. Spent about $2500 for 7 days, 6 day park hopper tickets, buying all meals out. figure at least $100/night at a resort, less if you want to do the 'values' but those are crawling with kids and have less of a romantic atmosphere and poor dining choices(all buffet style)

I am thinking about going here for our honeymoon...SO depending on what kind of resort you want to stay in depends on the price.
If you want a value-resort (Like Pop Century)...It is about $1700 for everything
If you want a moderate resort (Like Port Orleans) it is around $2500....Animal Kingdom is a little more than this, and a little less than below...and it is considered a Delux Resort.
If you want it all, nice HUGE resort (Like The Beach Club) it is about $4000
That's the pricing I have been given anyways...with food, rooms, tickets.
Good Luck!

Be prepared to spend at least $1000 per person for park admission and food. Travel and hotels can vary drastically depending on how far you're coming from and what kind of hotel you like. It's really expensive nowadays. Look for online coupons.
