First, you can see if you can be put back on Ritalin. Now that there is a generic pill, it might be a good, low-cost idea.
There are many things that can give you temporary energy, like candy, sodas, tea, coffee, and those energy drinks. I personally don't use those things.
I have chronic fatigue and muscle/joint pain and a weakened immune system. It's an auto-immune disorder which makes your body attack itself. A lot like Rheumatoid Arthritis. Both can cause fatigue like you've explained. Other illnesses can cause weakness and fatigue and I'll include a site or two below.
You also may not be getting enough fresh air and exercise. Drawback: if you have outdoor allergies and that is what is causing your problem, it won't help.
I'll link you to possible causes and you can take a look at them. Most of the time, the things I'll be showing you need to be diagnosed and treated by a physician, but at least you'll go into his/her office informed about the possibilities.

Ritalin is a stimulant and when you go off it, there can be a drop off in energy. You can recover with good diet, exercise and rest but there may be something else at work here.
Don't look to drugs, look to a combination of good diet (including lots of fruit and vegetables), regular exercise and regular sleep. If you are still fatigued all the time see a doctor.
Though most people don't get enough sleep it is possible to get too much. The important thing is to be consistent with your sleep pattern. Eight hours a night is a good average though some people need more and some people need less.

Speak to your doctor, you cannot go on taking a drug to keep you awake. Sleepiness or constantly being tired may be a result of an under active thyroid, hypothyroidism, or iron deficiency. The best way to check these is ask your doctor for a simple blood test.

Your diet may be lacking in iron. Women need 5 times more iron than guys. The best way for your body to absorb iron is by eating red meat.ie beef or lamb . Ideally you should have a large helping of beef or lamb 4 times a week . That should help.

Have the Dr. check for anemia, blood pressure, sugar level, vitamin deficiencies, just talk with him and ask for all the blood tests he can do. This will make sure that nothing physical is really involved. Depression is also a possibility.

I would say it's time for you to see your doctor and have some blood tests to check for the Coxsackie virus, anaemia, etc. Alternately, you may require some fresh air and exercise. You often find that the less you do, the less you want to do.
