Yes they should be entitled to anything they want at that age... Remember they are not kids anymore though they do need attention like some (it's just fact sorry to offend some people).

It's absurd! They're not children, they're grown ups! Give them their doughnuts, etc if they want them. It's their choice! They certainly know better, don't they?!
