I'm planning to do highlights by this week, when enquiring the price...Hair Salon in malls is quoting the cheapest rate than the regular salon...morethan 50 bucks difference...I'm just wondering is the parlours in Malls are good ? or they use low cost product ? Will the service is good ?? Pls share your views..

You get what you pay for most of the time. There's a chance you'll get a high quality service at a low price, but that's a risk you need to consider.

I've never had good experiences at mall salons. Although, I've heard good thing about JCPenney (they will cost you, though).

When it comes to hair, you generally get what you pay for.

Some are good, some aren't. Depends upon what they use for product as much as anything. Hair is the same as anything else, you get what you pay for.
