Why not simply teach EVERYONE to speak english?????
i for one would like it.then when we go on holiday's ect we wouldnt get confused!!!! who agrees? and it would be so much easier when we get a call from a call center millions of miles away....we'd be able to understand better!!! and that would create jobs and make the world a big melting pot! who agrees? or do you think we should learn say american? id learn it!!!!!!! who agrees? disagrees? or has no opinion?its ok if you dont have an opinion simply reply with anything and claim your 2 points. ;O)

hi blue, very good question, but every other country would want us to speak there language, there are some parts of the country, that dont like the english, and would never agree, it would be the first ever war, caused because of a language

First of all, those people who do speak English speak it so differently, depending upon where they hail from. British soldiers are really incomprehensible to the average American. Australians are totally different in speech. It was not that long ago if a Northerner took a trip to the deep south there would be language problems.
Secondly, English is comprised of words and phrases from hundreds of languages.
Thirdly, yep! Others might want us to speak Chinese or Spanish or German...
But, hey, if a war broke out due to the language, it would not be the first time. Just read your Bible or any history book about peoples centuries or milenia ago.

For Goodness Sake, This planet of ours is filled with so many wonderful things to see, and a various amount of different people and cultures to encounter.
Please don't be so narrow minded, why not try embracing it all, instead of limiting your self, or expecting others to be like your good self !
try it, you just might like it .
