Your ipod will only work with one computer. That's to keep people from trading songs.

You can do this by setting your iPod to Manual.

If you want to use your iPod to transfer music from your worjk PC to your home PC, you can use "SharePod" - a program that you install on your iPod which lets you access all the music, and copy it to any computer.

Your setting is in itunes, just go to tools, preferences and then ipod, and untick the automatically update box.
