Foliage turning to all sorts of colors

I agree with Jessie and also miss the fall colors! One of the most beautiful places that I remember seeing was heading toward the west coast from Spokane to Seattle. I remember there were some very winding roads and a beautiful stream where men were fishing. The colors were so magnificent and the scene so picturesque you could hardly keep your eyes on the road! I'd love to go back! I now live in Florida and there isn't much to look at color wise. It is either green or brown with an occasional variation but hey, I don't shovel snow in NY any more- Native NYer

I love that when you get up in the mornings the air is crisp and cool and by mid day it can be rather warm out and you have to worry about what to do with your jacket.
I love being cool, after a long hot summer, feeling alive and young again,
I like watching whole trees quiver in the wind shedding dancing leaves in to the air. I like crunching through the dead leaf piles while taking a walk along an outdoor trail. And I like watching the busy animals and bugs scurrying around getting prepared for the long cold winter.
Yes I love Autumn.

I love Thanksgiving (it falls on Oct. 8 in Canada). It's always a blast. I buy the biggest turkey I can find and invite all my friends and family over. I cooked for 20 people last year! A lot of work...but it's my favorite day in Autumn.
