A friend of mine started having early contractions and come to find out she was dehydrated. Then I remembered from my own research that you can slow contractions by drinking water. So make sure that you are drinking plenty of water, no caffeine. Stay hydrated. Read this link, paragraph 5 especially.

I'm 33 weeks and my baby dropped about 2 weeks ago. I also have alot of braxton hicks. I went to the doctor on Friday for a regular check up and they ended up sending me to labor and delivery because my cervix was 80% effaced and I was dialated 2cm. But the contractions stopped and they sent me home Sunday. But I have a history of preterm labor. U should set up an appt with your doctor to see if anything is happen. Good luck

I was dropped from 31 weeks on. He was fully engaged in the pelvis, and I'd have to pace the floor on and off all night with contractions.

I went full term.

I wouldnt stress it.

Every pregnancy is different...as long as your Dr is not concerned, you don't need to be either.

As for when the baby will come, it could be in a few weeks, it could be in 8. Sorry! Baby will come when it's ready! :)
