well he was unreasonable - everyone is liable to get delayed by circumstance occasionally - and you did the right thing by going home.

I have been responsible for one or two interviews myself and would never impose such a silly condition.

I would send a polite letter, thanking him for the appointment, and stressing that you had arrived early, and suffered some discomfort to meet his conditions. I would politely enquire why he was unable to turn up for the interview on time.

send a letter - be Polite & informative - let the pig know that you suffered and that he is a hypocrite

The intrviewer was rude, but unfortunately, they have something you want (a job to offer) so that puts them in control.

If you don't want to work for a jerk, you probably did the right thing, because they would probably always be rude. However, if there's a job you want really badly, you might have to put up with a lot in order to get it.

i would feel pissed off. something better for you will come around. you don't want to work for a person like that any way, especially if the receptionist or whoever didn't have the decency to mention he is behind schedule. so i say you did the right thing. don't let this discourage you from still trying
