My husband says that difference is there job uses. For example different weight compacities. I believe a high/low is simply a forklift. There may be different size forklifts, however all are forklifts. Please settle this for us.

Probably just like the way some people say mushmelon, muskmelon or cantalope. Sure, there's very minor differences between a true muskmelon and a true cantalope if you really want to get picky, but otherwise it's basically where in the country one lives or grew up calling something.

How did you get this job? did they think you were a geniuses.the difference is a fork lift has the lift on the front of the machine. just in case if you are setting in the seat the lift is in front of you got it? a lift truck has a lift on the back of the truck that is the end of the truck that does not have the steering wheel on it. now here is your sign.

They are different. A lift truck is a truck with a lift in the back. A fork lift is smaller and has the forks in the front.

different steering wheel. Hi-lo uses joy stick like steering wheel and forklift uses regular steering wheel.
