I'm a FIlipina, and my Husband is a mutt (1/2Mexican 1/4 Salvadorean 1/4Portugese), yet he has more slanted eyes than eye do, and I am more tan than him cause I swim a lot. Everytime we are walking together people, especially Latinos look at us with shame, and the Asians are more of whatever. I have known my husban for 5 years, and I have studied everyones culture but mine, but there is no where in any text books that states anything about these shameful looks, and glares. Its driving me crazy. ITs not easy to blend it. What should we do? My husband almost snapped at these other couples one time.

You should be happy everyone's looking at you...with shame is just a complex you should get over with.
Walk with pride and confidence about who you are. Talk without fear, but give due respect to others even if you feel look down upon. You'll be magnanimous, and it'll boost your confidence.
Don't flare up. Be cool, and never look down on others even if they do to you. For if you do, you'll be just bringing yourself down to their level.
You'll be good. Take my advice.

People can be very closed minded, espcially if you live in a highly ethnic area or outside of a large cosmopolitan area. Either develop a thick skin and ignore the ignorance, or move to a large metropolis where there is less judgment of this sort.

Maybe you two look too good together and people are jealous.
Don't let them bring you down, neither one of you sound strange to me.
I am an American who lives part-time in Hungary, I am white and Native American, people are always checking me out, I asked my husband why and he just said they never saw anyone as good looking as me before.Silly, but he has a point, who wants to blend in anyways, it is nice to be noticed.

Ignore them. They are cultural chauvinists. Latinos are a mix of several different races, too... They should be the last to care.
