Absolutely, yes. There are no flaws in that movie whatsoever, either in the acting, or the visuals. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are wonderful. I can see it over and over again.

Sorry, like many below- i too loved it!! Of course the storyline, screenplay, acting etc. was fab but all this would not have been possible if the author Stephen King had not written the fantastic book in the first place. The imagery, irony (and other things u feel due to atmosphere/emotion created by the film) is largely due to the text. Recommend all to read the book, especially if u thought the film was good!!

It was a pretty darn good movie, especially since it was based on a short story called "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption", by Stephen King. "The Green Mile" was also good.

I think that over time it will be considered one. It's already made the top 100 list and is on a lot of critics best lists. It really was a great movie. Better than the Stephen King story, and that doesn't happen too often.

Considering that it was based on a very excellently written
novel by my literary idol Stephen King and that isn't his usual
Horror Film genre, it is definitely a favorite of mine & should
be considered a new Classic Ü

NO... it may be a good film but it's based on an impossible premice... he would never have been allowed to stay in that cell for as many years as he did and... when you go to the hole.. you don't come back to your previous cell... so it's an impossible situation.
