WIll i be able to play games on the core 2 quad Q6600????
Won't it affect the games that i will play?

It shouldn't affect the games that you play...unless you are playing older games. Sometimes they need to have only 1 CPU present and if there are more than one, it goes goofy.

i have a quad core and i ran worms world party easily let alone 2003 games. dw it will run them smoothely, get a q6600 SLACR with G0 stepping (runs cooler & less wattage)

It will affect your games, and not necessarily for the better.
You might need to disable all but one core when you play an older game.
