No, Australia's land can't sustain any more people. They keep importing people to boost the economy, but in the mean time, drought is so severe that they are running out of water and fertile land. More people of ANY background is NOT a good thing there.

The Australian government has already said that they are happy to have them but that they should no expect the culture of the country to accomodate them. If they do, they can just "bugger off"
I say we give them Wyoming, we're not using it.
